My birthday weekend...

My mom had the girls this last weekend so I got to spend my birthday weekend relaxing and doing whatever I wanted! It was REALLY nice and QUIET. Well except for the evenings..lol!

So Friday after I dropped the girls off Bina came over and I took a few snaps of a new pair of shoes she bought! Lol! She hasn't found a pair of shoes she's loved in a long time, so I had some fun with them. I took a lot more but here are a few that made the cut. Not great and hard to keep the detail and color of the shoe outside but I did my best!

Of course I had to put my own spin on at least a couple of them...

Bye bye Bina! Enjoy your new shoes...

And since Bina got to show off her new shoes, I had to show off mine. Not nearly as fancy but if they pick up my butt and firm my thighs...I can bare the way they look. I asked Eric for these for my bday...

Then on Saturday Bina took me to get a pedi for my birthday.

The color I chose...

My pedi...don't mind my ugly feet and tattoo...

Bina's pedi...

Damn texters...

The work details...

The pretty details...

Then after our pedi's Bina took me out to lunch to get my FAVORITE salad EVER at Coco's.

The menu...

My yummies...

Then on Saturday night my dear Bina and my wonderful husband threw me a party. They invited a bunch of people and decorated. They also bought me Princess gloves and a pretty wand. Then I wore the Tiara off of the gift bag from Brian, Dar & Kalea! I only took a few pics at the very start of the night...

Cute huh?

Then on Sunday Bina and I laid on the couch all day watching That's 70's Show. And Eric went and got the girls! So needless to say it was a WONDERFUL weekend and one of the best birthday's in a while!

I wanted to give a special thank you to my husband! Thank you for going out of your way to make it so special and make me feel so loved! I love you SO much and I truly wouldn't be who I am today without you! You've made my life better in more ways than I could ever express! And another special thank you to my dearest and most cherished friend Bina! We are like 1 person. Always have been. Our friendship has always been so effortless, natural, loving and FUN! A guy at Coco's asked if we were twins and told us we were HOT! Ha! I love you Bina more than I could ever express. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend and I could NOT imagine having spent it without you! You guys complete me! Teehee!

And I also wanted to thank EVERYONE who came Saturday night. I cannot tell you how much it meant to me and how much fun I had! Each one of you holds a special place in my life and in my heart and it wouldn't have been the same or nearly as much fun if you hadn't been there to celebrate with me! I LOVE you all! And thank you for my AMAZING gifts. I get to do LOTS of shopping, movies and dinner this weekend! Lol!

So that was my weekend...great as you can see! I hope everyone is well and in case you are wondering...I turned 24!!!!!!!!! :O)

Shoes & Haircuts...

So last Thursday I took the girls out for some errands which included new shoes for Miss Haylee and a haircut for each of the girls. This was Avyree's 1st official haircut. The one I did over a year ago in our bathroom doesn't count! Lol!

First I have to talk about Haylee's shoes! For those of you who don't know Haylee just turned 8 Nov. 19, 2009! So she's not even 8 1/2 yet...almost but not quite yet! I knew her feet had grown but boy did I about faint when I saw how much! She offically has larger feet than my mom, the same size as Bina and only a size and a half smaller than mine! Wowza! Lol! No worries tho, she is in very good humor about it and knows she'll grow into them...unlike me! Which by the way she thinks is HIGH...LARIOUS!!!

I couldn't resist this photo op of her "KICKS" as they call them now {reminds me of that Friends episode with Chandler...anyway} and the size 7 Woman's shoe! And she loved the little nylon socks they give you and wouldn't take them off all day! Gotta love this kid...

Then we headed to FABULOUS {lol} Supercuts to get their hair cut! They were both VERY overdue but I didn't have them cut much. Just a trim! Lol! So here are just a bunch of shots! By the way, Avyree did AWESOME, loved watching the lady cut her hair and stayed VERY still. Haylee was the same way when I took her to get her 1st cut too! I over shoot and am HORRIBLE at narrowing down my selection so deal with it! :O)

Haylee's a pro at this...

Avyree sure looks like one. I LOVE her hair up like that...

Bye bye hair...sniff sniff...

She was obsessed with looking at herself in the mirror. Wouldn't you if you were her...

Haylee's hair was so long I had her take off a little more and there are the KICKS again...

Almost done then getting her sucker that she earned...

The last two times we've had them tapper the front by her face and she loves it...

The final product! Man oh man I could just eat this lil Nugget of mine...

My beauty...my beauty that's growing TOO fast...

So that was our eventful day last week! Next will come a big post about what I did over my birthday weekend with NO kids! It'll be VERY exciting {NOT} so be ready! Lol! Hope everyone is doing great and enjoying your spring. For us, it'll sadly be too short!

2 girls a dog and some homework...

That title reminds me of that show "2 guys a girl and a pizza place"! I loved that show.

So I still cannot resist the urge to play with my new lens! What better photo op than doing homework right! Some homework days are better than others. And math homework usually means a rough homework day! See poor Haylee got her math skills from me...UNFORTUNATELY! But today her spirits were high and we had a lot of fun.

Here is Haylee's "thinking" face. Why do my girls have such funny thinking faces? It's hard for them...something else they got from me...

Snacks and math just go together...ya know...

Just some DOF shots...

She's a cheater and I'm okay with it cause I am too! With math at least...

Uh oh...the sillies are starting...

Her lashes aren't long but they are dark and I'm deeply in LOVE with her freckles...

Some days it really hits me how big and grown up she's getting! My once sweet chubby bald baby is growing up...which also means I'm getting older. Wow...34 in 5 days...UGH!

And of course Nugget had to get in on the action! LOVE the red tongue and she thought it was the funniest thing EVER...

Haylee sometimes wants her hair braided so it's curly and of course Nugget has to be like her big sissy. I remember my mom doing this with my hair when I was little. Some traditions never change. I can't believe how long her hair is. I'm taking both the girls to get their hair cut tomorrow and it'll be Avyree's 1st offical hair cut and I think I may cry! I'll have my camera in hand of course...

She's too cute but don't let those eyes, lashes, hair and sweet smile fool you. She's a little turd but we love her for it...

Oh and sweet, beautiful, loving, adorable Lily. How I love her! She could not be a better puppy. She truly has a HEART OF GOLD! She'll be 10 months old on the 19th of this month. My pup is growing up too. Why do they all have to grow up!

And back to Haylee...doing her 20 minutes of reading which she does NOT like. At least she likes her book and is learning some funny/cheesey jokes...

So that was our afternoon! Hope yours was as good as ours! The girls are going to my moms for the weekend so I can have some grown up birthday fun! Wahoo! So I'm sure I'll post the hair cut pics over the weekend! This new lens has woke up my love for photography again so you'll probably get sick of me and guess what...I don't care! Ha! You are stuck with me and my kids...deal with THAT! "O}~

Have a great rest of your week and thanks for stopping by!

Family Fun Night & Haylee's 1st dance...

Haylee had Family Fun Night at school last week and it was wonderful! The best Family Fun Night her school has thrown! There were so many things to do this year and the highlight was the dance...Haylee's first ever!

Here are the girls eatin hot dogs and nachos...

Haylee and her friend Lina & crazy Nugget runnin around like usual...

Avyree & Heather...Heather's mom "Crystal" taking a pic of me and her other daughter Linda...

It was a 50's theme ~ Haylee, Heather & Rianna...that's Rianna's dad in the back...

Avyree's future husband The J Man {Rianna's brother}. They will make BEAUTIFUL children these two...

Avyree and her BFF Sheila. Sheila ROCKS, is THE sweetest and we LOVE her daughter too...

Now for the dance. I went with some 70's edit and some grain! Haylee was a bit shy at first but about half way into the dance felt more comfortable and really had some fun! It was such a FUN night watching all the kids really get into it and dance. The DJ even did a dance off between girls and boys. Don't tell the girls but the boys beat the pants off the girls! They ROCKED it!

Silly Haylee...

Haylee & Anne...

That is her BFF for EVA Katie right next to her...

The ROCKIN AWESOME DJ & his son...

And what dance is complete without the YMCA...

Now I normally don't post pics of kids I don't know. But I could NOT resist this one. This LITTLE guy can dance better than most adults. I have many of him and hope to send them to his parents. This kid ROCKS and I caught him doing a HEAD SPIN! This kid has a SERIOUS future in dancing...

And because I'm a total photography NERD I couldn't resist getting some shots of Becky's AWESOME bike...

This was one of those nights that Haylee will never forget and because I am on the Yearbook Committee I captured the whole night and Haylee will have her school year pics to always look back on!

I hope you enjoyed seeing Haylee's fun night and hope everyone is doing GREAT! :O)
