Yummy Starbucks....

After many days of rain, the girls were going crazy and needed to get out of the house! We saw a little sun today, so we headed to the park to play. It got cold and cloudy again while we were out. So on the way home we stopped at Starbucks to get some hot chocolate and SUGAR! What better way to end our fun time outside. I haven't edited the park pics, but here are the Starbucks pictures. Who knew sitting at Starbucks and pigging out could be so much fun!

The girls yummies...

This kid eats like a truck driver talks...and I love it...

Haylee enjoying her hot chocolate! I don't know why, but I really love this picture...

My yummies...

Blech gray skies...

Avyree and her expressions...they get me every.time! To know her is to love her...

Haylee dippin her yummies in her hot chocolate...

She's growing up! Calm and relaxed and she just chills out with me! I love her so much...

Details...no matter how boring they are...I simply HAVE to shoot them...

See...it's a compulsion of mine! I cannot help myself...

Time to stretch the legs and burn off some of that sugar...

I have no.idea! Nugget is in her own world all.the.time...

This is what happens to Haylee when she eats sugar. She gets really spacey, then comes back down to Earth with the sillies...

The clock! There used to be a Jewelry store here called Rostand. It's been gone for years but the clock still stands. I remember this clock from when I was a kid too! I'm so glad it's still here and hope it always remains...

So that was our Starbucks fun! Thanks for looking and I hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday Season. I'll post the park pics soon...cause you know you've NEVER seen my kids at the park before! :)

What's better than Christmas decorations...

So we finally got up our decorations, tree & lights outside! We are a bit behind this year! So I took some pics tonight and wanted to share of course! It's finally starting to feel like Christmas at home. It never feels like Christmas until it's all up and sparkling!

Nugget decorating the tree...

Haylee decorating the tree...

My beautiful girls...together AND smiling...

Some fun with DOF...

Lily watching Daddy put up lights outside...

This is a very special ornament to me. My grandma Jeannine gave this to me. It was her favorite. It was made in France {where my grandma is from} and is so beautiful and fragile! This is a treasure to my heart...

Some of the other ornaments...

Annette gave me this Santa several years ago! I still love it...

Some yummy goodness on the tree...

Our purty tree...

Haylee when she was a newborn. This was her first Christmas photo...

No real snow here so we enjoy the fake one on the tree...

These are really cool. They close into a ball & when opened they have a little scene that moves and plays music. Annette got these for the girls a few years ago. The red one is Avyree's and the purple one is Haylee's. The girls love them...

This is my favorite decoration to date. Next to the Jingle Bells snowman my mom gave me! "Believe" it or not, I got this at the 99 cent store today! Whoot whoot...

Another awesome find at the 99 cent store today...

The outside lights...

More outside...

And some plain ole yummy out of focus bokeh goodness...

MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone! I hope you are well on your way to having a wonderful Christmas with friends and family.

Today was a good day...

My little Nugget wanted me to take pictures of her! Well actually, I was shooting macro outside and she was driving me crazy and getting in the way! Once she had my FULL attention, she then wanted to pose! I sure do love my macro lens for portraits....

Thanks for looking! :)

Thanksgiving in the desert...

It's been a while since we went camping in the desert for Thanksgiving! It was cold but a LOT of fun! Good company, dirt toys, fried turkey & BOOZE! I'd say the weather was worth it! Cool during the day and about thirteen at night...thank goodness for our 5th wheel! :)

Because of the weather and some wind, I didn't shoot too much. Plus, it's the drab desert and I HATE the colors. So I wasn't overly motivated. But here are some of what I took...

The 5th wheel that keeps us warm...

Our campsite! Us on the left, my mom & Allan in the camper and Bryan, Dar & Kalea on the right....

The girls playin on the hill climbs...

Of course...another of my bike...

Kalea'ster roostin her new quad...

Haylee havin a blast all over place...

She's improving so much and really getting the feel of riding that we are thinking about buying her a "real" quad next! I'm so proud of how far she's come in skill and confidence in the year she's been riding...

Dar in action...

Nugget has yet to ride her new quad so she's getting the feel of it. We had our fingers crossed that this might be the trip where she'd finally get over her fears and go for it...

Nugget's quad...

Doesn't look so good does it! She's off the quad & in the dirt as usual. Her new camping nickname is "Pig Pen"...

My boots are so purty...

But wait...LOOK...she's RIDING! WOHOOOOO! Yes...finally she did it! Yeah Nugget... I mean Pig Pen...

That's my girl! I'm so proud of her too!

And that's all I took! :) Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family! Happy Holidays!
