365 309-329

Phew...every time I turn around, I'm behind on my 365.  I've actually been really lazy with my blog in general. Must be the time of year and being busier!  Here are my recent 365 shots.  Once again there are too many shots to post my edits...sorry!  After the new year hopefully I'll get back on track with that part...

Haylee's birthday party sleepover with her besties...

The next morning. I love how they all slept on the bottom bunk...

Cold steamy morning...

Getting ready for Thanksgiving.  Yep...I do it the easy way...

A duct tape wallet & purse that Haylee made with her bday craft duct tape...

We fried a turkey and our friend brought over his infrared cooker.  Both so yummy...

Fall colors which are rare for Southern California.  This was 3 houses down from us...

I was hired to shoot an event and sadly still do not have a backup camera!  Husband says I need to earn money to pay for one and I say that I need one to make the money.  We are at a bypass so I borrow...lol!  My wonderful friend and fellow amazing photographer shipped me her 1D Mark III.  Yeah...that's trust...

Just some dainty little flowers...

Was at a loss so I grabbed shots of the trash guy driving by...haha...

Crow on the gate of the girls school...

The girls went to my friends for a play date and she sent back TWENTY of these.  I could have killed her...lol...

After a bad windstorm.  This was across the street from the girls school.  We'll miss this cute little tree...

Xray time...

Starting to get the Christmas decorations out...

I admit...I make an AMAZING steak in my toaster oven.  My dad was the King of BBQ chicken and I think I'm the Queen of toaster oven steak.  Juicy, most and so flavorful...

The girls decorating the tree all by themselves this year...

Haylee's BFF told her that the Christmas Fairy comes to her house the entire month of December.  All they have to do is put out a box and leave it open.  Each night she will bring them a little treat.  So now the Christmas Fairy comes to our house too.  It's so cute to watch the girls excitement every morning.  I'm glad the Christmas Fairy found our house...

A friend lent me this series (or part of it) and this was the day I started book 2.  I'm already half way through book 3...lol!  No wonder I haven't been posting much...

This was my grandma's ornament. It's a blown glass, hand painted ornament from France.  She gave it to me and it's one of my most cherished things I have.  When I put it on the tree, I feel like she's here with me instead of up North with my Dad...

I was going to attach today's photo, but it appears I may have reached my limit.  The code is in and it's not showing up. So I'll keep it for next week!

Thanks for looking & I hope everyone is doing great and getting ready for the Holidays!

Fractured Pinky...

So last Thursday Haylee was walking through her classroom and hit her hand on a desk.  It was hurting her & stated to swell quickly so she was sent to the nurse.  They iced it and sent her back to class although the swelling didn't go down at all.  She couldn't write and was in pain.  They didn't even call me.  I wasn't all too happy but that's a whole different topic! Lol!  I waited to see if the swelling would go down by the morning.  She hit her hand in Karate over the summer and it swelled but was gone by morning.  But Haylee wasn't as lucky this time.  By morning it was worse and bruising pretty bad.  So we headed to the Dr for Xrays.  She did fracture her pinky so they fitted her for a splint for two weeks.  And OF COURSE I took my camera. The colors are pretty crappy but the lighting is so nasty in there!  I'm glad I have the pictures though, bad colors & all!

The nurse doing her little checkup...

Waiting for the Dr...

She was nervous so she brought her little Valentine teddy I got her...

This was her first Xray and she was really nervous.  It was so cute an I was so thankful that the wonderful Xray techs let me snap a few pictures to remember this...

Now we headed over to Orthopedics for the splint and are waiting to be called in...

She's trying very hard to ignore me and my big camera in her face...

Camera harassment...

Can you tell she's nervous...haha...

The guy putting on the splint was awesome & let me takes pictures as long as I didn't get his face....hence the low angles...

Couple details since I'm incomplete without them...

I love the look on her face.  Like she thought he was going to cut off her finger...lol...

The naughty skeleton santa with a broken arm & leg.  How cute is that...

And we are done.  She thought it was all pretty cool after the fact and was excited for all her friends to see her splint...

Thanks for looking!  :)
