365 120-132

So I'm not quite sure why I'm posting these. I know of one person who actually looks at them... Hi Toni! Ha! I did consider not posting them anymore. But then I realized the whole purpose of the 365 is for me and and even if nobody looks, it helps me in some way when I put them out there. Keeps me going I guess. So once again, here are two weeks worth of my 365.

Lunch date with my girls...

Daddy went on an overnight 4x4 trip. So it was just the girls and I on Saturday. So we headed out to Coco's to have some lunch and I brought my camera along. I'm not sure why I like to take my camera every time we go out to eat. Even when it's fast food. But it really is a favorite of mine. I always love the pictures so much.

And before I get started...I want to plug Lily Blue! I LOVE her! I'm obsessed with her in fact. I wasn't going to buy her new Simple Set. I tend to like heavy handed editing...in case you haven't noticed! Lol. So I thought they might be too simple for me. But as I have all her actions and love them so much, I bought them tonight. Boy was I surprised when I started running them. OMG I LOVE them. Sometimes it takes me a bit to get to know a set and love them. Not this one. I loved every single action in the set...the second I ran them. They are simple...but so much more. I LOVE the film feel they have to them. They retain your detail and she did such an amazing job staying true to the film look. And so easy to run and really easy to adjust. Not too heavy and not too light! So I used the set for every picture in the post. I'm so glad I bought them and I know they will become a huge part of my workflow now! She never disappoints!

And...here we go...

Gotta get the details...

We were seated next to a gorgeous window with wonderful light. Here is Nugget waiting for her food...

Haylee doing her word search. She got hers finished before I got Avyree's finished...

What can I say about Lily Blue's b&w actions! They always move me. I always love them. And this set has the best to date. I love the mood and feelings her b&w actions invoke...

The girls food. Avyree got breakfast and Haylee got lunch..

And I got the Avocado Rolls...yummy...

And as always, watching Nugget eat is a show in itself...

She was hungry...

And I got myself a salad to take home for dinner. I love their Asian Chicken salad...

My big girl looking so grown up...

She brought her own curly straw to lunch...teehee...

Possibly one of my favs of Nugget. She looks so relaxed & grown up like she's chillin and drinking her coffee {it's Root Beer by the way}...

I missed my focus a bit, but love this shot all the same. I love how relaxed and happy she seems..

And Nugget's show starts...

Can she get any closer....

Oy boy...she kills me...

To answer my question...yes she can get closer. So close in fact that her teeth are in focus instead of her eyes...teehee!

After lunch we ran some errands then went and rented movies. We sat down and watched Tangled together. What a great fun movie! Thanks for looking and I hope everyone is doing great! :)

Hose, bathing suit and water fun...

During the short time we had warm weather. It's been very cool for So Cal this year. I'm not complaining tho. I love it! So Avyree was wearing her bikini that my Aunt got for her....2 years ago I believe. Her butt just now almost fills it out enough to be able to wear it...teehee!

So I had to capture some of her playing. It was harsh direct sunlight, but she's so stinkin cute in her little bikini that it makes up for the harsh light.

Told you she's cute in her suit! Short post today!

Park fun with friends...

My friend just got her first DSLR so we headed to the park to play. Her older daughter just happens to be Haylee's BFF, so we took lots of pics while they played. And our two little ones get along great so they ran around and played too.

So when we first got to the park, there was a man on stage playing music. Then we heard chanting and yelling and bag pipes. Then we saw these awesome teenagers that had marched down our main street all the way down to our park on their "Drug Free" lifestyle. I was so moved and proud of these kids and hope with all of my heart that my girls follow in their footsteps. Their parents must be so proud of them...

Haylee & Katie dancing to the music. Katie doing the sprinkler reminds me of Stewart's old 125 days...

Katie's younger sister & Avyree's bud, Nicole...

Nicole taking a pic of me while I take a pic of her. I told Chris that she is brave to let her kids use her new camera! Mine never get too, lol...

My Haylee with a hot chocolate that Chris brought for the girls {and coffee for me too...how much does Chris rock!}...

And here is Chris with her brand new baby...
And the two BFF's. Aren't they the.cutest.ever...

What's a day at the park without jumping off the benches...

And as always...Nugget on the move...

The giggle girls! I truly with all of my heart....love these pictures! I remember girly silly moments like this with my girlfriends when I was young...

I'm so glad they have each other. Two GREAT girls...

And beautiful to boot...

On the outside as well as the inside...

And that was our fun day at the park with good friends!

365 106-119...

Once again I missed a Friday! I have a good excuse...we left for Las Vegas! :) So here again are my 2 weeks worth...

And I've been thinking lately about the theme of my 365. When I first started, being my first 365 project, I had no idea what direction I would go in nor a theme in mind. But as I shot, I started to see my theme without trying. So my theme for my very first 365 is ...big surprise...my life or our Life as it Happens. For some of you, you may not know that for a long time, that was my watermark and if I ever went into biz, what I would name it. It sums up WHO I am as a photographer, to my core, in 4 words. Maybe next year, if I do the 365 again, I'll go deeper, more creative and put more into it. But I'm really happy to have my first 365 be about my daily life!

Anyway...back to regular scheduled programing...

Haylee working her tushy off at the fundraiser {she worked almost all day serving drinks in the hot sun}...

My hat from the fundraiser. I was a wimp and couldn't get the Monster green just right so I converted it to b&w! Lol! I really love my new hat...

This also came from the fundraiser. We had a lot of small things left over that people donated last minute that just didn't fit into a way to raffle. So we brought them home for the girls, and Mike's kids too. I kept this one because it makes me think of my girls relationship...

And the big news...my Lola came! LOVE it but boy is it TINY compared to my Jo Tote Rose bag. Great gorgeous bag. But a day bag for sure. With my 5d+35L & 135L its super tight! Add my Lensbaby and I have to take my cards out of my wallet and throw them in the zipper and keep my shades on my head. I've actually taken the grip off to test the non grip waters because it's REALLY tight with the grip. But I do really love it for a short trip day bag. The Jo Tote Rose will still get a lot of use tho because I love it's size...

Gotta get tan for Vegas right...

Getting the Vegas drinks ready...

And...we are OFF to Vegas...

Ssshh...I won't tell if you don't...

One last look before we head home...

Got these for the girls...so fun...

Nugget with her camera...

My fashion girl at her best...

Getting the Jeep ready for the WARM weather...

Nugget having fun with the water...

And that is it! Hope everyone had a great 2 weeks and hope that your weekend is even better! Thanks for stoppin by!
