Avyree's Ice Cream Social...

We went to Avyree's school for Ice Cream Social the other night.  A great night for everyone to get together, eat some yummy *free to us* ice cream and dance the night away. It's so weird saying Avyree's school and not the girls school! Sigh...

After ice cream they have a DJ in the auditorium and it's SO.MUCH.FUN!!!  My BFF Bina brought her grandson to have some fun (he has red plaid shorts and she has on jeans and a gray shirt)...






I was shooting for myself and the yearbook.  So I tried to get a little group shot and photo bomber Avyree got her cute little face in the picture too...




Everybody's shufflin (that's the song they were dancing to.  And for those who knew me back in my dancing days...look at her right finger/hand...look familiar?  haha...




So I was like... "She's doing the Running Man...how cute!"  I was quickly corrected that it's called The Shuffle or Shuffling!  Man I'm getting old but LOVE to see old dance moves still around...




Now that she can finally do it...she just can't stop herself...lol!  Katie & Haylee are her audience...

Haylee's first Middle School math project...

Just a quick share!  Haylee had her first math project!  It was a fun project.  They had a $100 budget and had to go shopping and get as close to $100 without going over.  She was 55 cents away from $100!

Park Play date...

I took the girls to the park to meet a bunch of friends for a play date!  We met at 10 and already the light was getting really harsh.  But that's the life of a mom with a camera.  Can't always shoot in the "nice" light but the memories are worth the bad lighting...always...

Haylee gets reading glasses...

We finally figured out what was causing all Haylee's headaches last year.  They got better over the summer.  Not completely gone but MUCH better.  As soon as school started up again...within 2 weeks the headaches came back.  Although she's passed every eye chart exam at the Dr, the headaches seemed related to school.  So I took her to the optometrist & found out that she is farsighted and has astigmatism.  So she got bi-focal reading glasses!

I took a few pictures to document her experience!  They look super cute on her...

Avyree's birthday celebration...

For Avyree's birthday we took her to Disneyland.  We went before Eric's surgery at the beginning of August vs closer to her birthday which was Aug 24th.  I decided not to take my camera to Disneyland so that I wouldn't have to lug it around, so that I could ride all the water rides & to simply...be in the moment with my family!

But I did take pictures at the hotel pool that I have to share!

We get a small suite that has a room with french doors and bunk beds in the back for the girls.  So this is the girls room...

Since I haven't truly worn a bathing suit since before I got pregnant with Avyree, I soaked my feet instead which BADLY need a pedicure or at least a paint job...
