Petunia the Panda...

Avyree was assigned a project over the Christmas break.  She has to build/create an animal and do a report on that animal.  She choose Panda so we built it today. She had so much fun doing the craft and is SO PROUD of how her Petunia turned out!  It was dark in dreary outside so my light wasn't great but as the life of a MWAC, we shoot away anyway!

Nugget's class Christmas party...

Such mixed emotions when I walked into her class that horrible Friday!  I had been glued to the TV sobbing all morning.  My heart breaking for so many in Newtown, CT.  Fear that I wanted to bring my kids home and knowing I needed to let them enjoy their last day of school before the break.  They have 3 weeks off of school so this was their party Friday!  I tried to clean up my face and get rid of the red and swelling and sniffles.  Going was the best thing I could have done though.  Kids are so wonderful and have a way of putting you in the moment and making you enjoy it, without you even having to think about it!  So I left there with a smile on my face, thankfulness in my heart and grateful to have spent some time with these great kids in their classroom!

It was loud, wild, crazy and so.much.fun!  Here is some of the crazy...

Decorating our Xmas tree...

Sunday we let the girls decorate the Christmas tree.  My shots aren't great but they are my girls!  The tree is back lit this year and up against the window making shooting a bit harder.  I'm still shooting with a 5D Classic so my ISO is pretty limited.  Shooting like this makes me wish I could hit BUY on the 5D Mark III NOW!  Anywho...they had fun and I have memories...so that's all that really matters...

Our little dirt girl...

Avyree has always loved dirt.  Could play in it for hours and hours.  The last year or so she's been slowly growing out of it!  So much so that when we went camping for Thanksgiving she informed us that she would not be playing in the dirt this trip.  And sadly she barely did!  But much to my surprise and happiness she decided she wanted to play in the dirt on Saturday.  She was much more careful this time to not get too dirty.

But she was in the dirt and I was happy so I grabbed my camera for a few snaps
